Stickers go on this panel only — the far side stays bare.
I’m financing a PS5 by selling the one surface everyone sees: the side panel.
It sits on my desk at the studio, and your logo sits on it — printed, photographed and linked from this page
Every spot opens at $2.00. Size and position decide where the bidding goes from there.
To take a spot you have to beat the standing bid by at least $1.00. Pay the moment you bid; if someone beats you later, it is refunded in full.

Twelve zones in three sticker sizes. All twelve open at $2.00 — the bidding decides the rest. Drop in a PNG or SVG and you’ll see it land on the panel.
Your card is charged the moment you bid, through Dodo Payments. Get outbid and it comes straight back, in full, automatically.
When the clock runs out I print every winning logo as die-cut vinyl, put it on the panel, and shoot the finished console properly. You get the photos and a link from this page.
The goal is $800, and here is every dollar of it. Anything raised past the goal goes on games, which is admittedly the fun part.
the console in the picture, plus the bits that make it worth owning
Every figure on this site is in US dollars. Bids are charged in US dollars and refunds come back in US dollars — there is no second currency anywhere in this auction.
Completely. The auction is real, the money is real, the stickers are real die-cut vinyl, and there is a genuine console going on my desk with your logo on it. The only fictional thing is the idea that a console side panel isn’t advertising space.
I’m Jay, a product designer. I run Knockturnals Studio, where we design and build websites, products and brand systems for startups and growing businesses.
This is not a studio project and it is not a business. It is a thing I built for fun on my own time because I wanted a PS5 and thought this was a more interesting way to get one than just buying it. I play games; I don’t make content about them.
Because I would rather the bidding decide what a spot is worth than have me guess. Two dollars gets anybody in — a solo dev, a tiny tool, a side project, a Discord server — and the good spots will climb on their own.
What you do not get is an impressions number, because I would be inventing it. This is a designer’s desk, not a media buy. What I can promise is that it gets printed, it goes on, and I show you the result.
Payments run through Dodo Payments. When you place a bid you pay the full amount there and then — there is no deposit and no invoice to chase later.
If someone outbids you, your payment is refunded in full, automatically, the moment their payment clears. You do not have to ask.
You get your money back in full and a mention in the bid history, and you are free to swing back. A new bid has to beat the standing one by at least $1.00.
Almost. Every sponsor and every uploaded logo is approved by hand before anything is printed, and I keep the final say on what goes on the panel — it lives on my desk, after all. If your bid is refused, you are refunded in full.
A transparent PNG or an SVG gives the cleanest print. JPG and WEBP work too, but a white box around your logo will show up as a white box on the panel. Three megabytes is the limit.
Upload is optional. Skip it and I’ll set your brand name as clean type instead, which honestly looks fine. If your logo needs adjusting to print well at sticker size, I’ll email you before anything goes to the cutter.
I could. But buying a console is boring, and building this wasn’t. I design and build things for a living, so an auction that puts twelve strangers’ logos on my hardware was always going to be more fun than a checkout page.
If nobody bids, I’ll get one eventually anyway — it will just be a very plain white console.
The twelve standing bids at the closing time win their spot. I email every winner the same day, check the artwork prints cleanly, get the stickers cut, and post proper photos of the finished panel here before the console goes anywhere.
This is one console and one auction. There is no second run, no franchise, nothing else to sign up for.
When the clock hits zero the panel gets printed and that is that. Right now every spot is still sitting at two dollars.

I’m not a streamer and I don’t have an audience to rent you. So here is the deal, stated plainly, with no numbers I’d have to invent.
Twelve spots, one panel, and a designer who thought this would be fun to build.
